The Hackquire™ blog is where we talk about the ingredients behind gray-area hacks. It is the cooking show part, but not that kind of cooking show. Not one produced with overly dramatic music for a scene where the whisk was not even plugged in, just before going to an ad break where the narrator faux gasps: “Phillipa and Gerald’s whisk is not working… will they fix it before the judges find out?” Then, quickly and tellingly, the show cuts to ads for fast food, dating sites, and a construction company called “Arctic Houses,” finally tacking on a charity appeal ad that barely anyone watches. Meanwhile, everyone found the fast-food ad “very funny.” Yeah, so… our blog is not one of those cooking shows.
