Hackquire™ Timeline.
The Hackquire™ book's timeline continues even as you're reading this. The Creators met at the start of their careers, with some pursuing higher education, others diving into the working world, and a few traveling. Early on, they saw various work hacks used by people in different situations. Whether applied during an online meeting or on a factory floor, these hacks helped make their work more effective. As they gained more experience, they developed a scientific method for all Hackquees and realized the need to create characters for each one. 1. The Start.
The Creators, a group of people from different backgrounds, languages, and cultures, met in their early years, forming what they called the 'Creators Circle.' They found common ground as they began their working adventures. Some traveled, some stayed in their local area, while others went to university. But all remained connected.
2. The Spark.
One of the Creators spent their time away from university in the construction industry. They used their lunch breaks on-site to study, learning many practical work hacks over a two-year period. During these years, they also observed various work hacks used by university lecturers. At that moment, the concept of the Hackquire™ book was born.
3. The Growth.
Over time, the Creators' diverse ventures expanded, and they agreed to share the work hacks they observed. This marked the embryonic growth of the Hackquire™ book, as it now became a tangible concept. It grew each time the Creators would hang out, discussing and refining the various gray-area hacks they had discovered.
4. The Application.
This phase was the initial process of applying but also observing the effectiveness of their acquired work hacks and providing feedback to each other. It was clear that a core principle of awesome working hacks must be the ease of application. They coined this term '#SugarFreeHacks,' implying that it's just the hack and the person. Easy to apply.
5. The Momentum.
With observation and application being key themes, the momentum of the 'Hackquees' started to build. Energy grew, and passion erupted as the Creators discovered more gray-area hacks, which they called the perfect +1 to talent and skill. In fact, the passion was so high that it started to become their dream side hustle.
6. The Obsession.
Now the Creators were obsessed. They had a gray-area filter for their work that allowed them to see all working roles and industries in a new light. They had discovered a new metaverse, or 'Hackaverse.' Whenever they 'put on' their Hacksets (akin to headsets), they saw their talent and skills explode with their +1, the Hackquees.
7. The Science.
With obsession now fixed at an ‘11’ and being very much in the Hackaverse and their careers growing more and more and now helping others grow fast, too, by sharing the hacked work wisdom, they wanted to add more science. They knew the clear need for these to be shared, so more science was vital.
8. The Method.
The Hackquire™ book’s methodology became rigorous, grounded in discovery, filtering, testing, applying, and learning. Around these simple steps, three core questions are central: Can it be easily applied? Is it easy to remember? Is it subtle? This formed the #HackquireMethod, the ideal +1 to talent and skill.
9. The Sharing.
With all the travels, all the discovered hacks, momentum, obsession, science, and methodology all coming together, the 'Creators Crew' remained in contact. It just became pure joy, joy that they have something that can help elevate career wisdom, aid the new members and seasoned professionals alike. The Hackquire™ book was formed.
10. The Future*
Joy evolved into commitment to ensure that the Hackquire™ book is future-proof. That's why, over the years, the Creators would revisit 'older' hacks, retest them, so the book will become your morning ritual and +1, 'Keys? Yes! Phone? Yes! Hackquire™ book? Yes! *That's the reason why this location is below, just as an analogy.
